Naselle built a big first-half lead and shot a blistering 56 percent from the field as it downed Tacoma Baptist 65-54 in a Pacific B League boys basketball game Saturday night.Kyle Burkhalter poured in 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and swiped three steals for the Comets (8-11, 6-7 league), who made 21-of-37 shots from the field and 20-of-28 at the free-throw line."We had a chance to blow it open, but we kind of let them right back in it," said Naselle coach Brian Macy, whose team led 37-20 at halftime.Naselle made 13 free throws in the final quarter to hold off the Crusaders.Austin Burkhalter added 13 points and Nathan Sultemeier scored 11 for the Comets. Conor Smith added six rebounds.
