Burkhalter ignites Comets

NASELLE ---- Kyle Burkhalter exploded for 26 points and nine rebounds to help Naselle beat second-place Northwest Christian 58-53 here Saturday in a Pacific 2B League boys basketball game.Burkhalter hit 10-of-17 field goals for the Comets (6-9, 4-5 in league), and Gabe See was huge off the bench with 10 points and eight rebounds, including six on the offensive glass.Austin Burkhalter added 11 points and Conor Smith nine for Naselle, which out-rebounded the Navigators 37-24.
