Comets fizzle in fourth
SEASIDE ---- Naselle wilted under Seaside's defensive pressure in the fourth quarter and dropped a 65-52 decision in a nonleague boys basketball game here Thursday.The Comets (2-1) led 32-29 at halftime and 49-46 through three quarters, but were outscored 19-3 in the fourth."They turned up the pressure and we didn't handle it," Naselle coach Brian Macy said. "We made some mistakes, they made a few easy buckets and it snowballed from there. We couldn't get anything going."Kyle Burkhalter had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Comets. Nathan Sultemeier added 13 points and two assists, and Conor Smith grabbed nine boards and made two steals.Naselle visits Wahkiakum on Saturday.
