Burkhalter sparks Comets

NASELLE ---- Kyle Burkhalter's double-double powered Naselle to a 71-53 victory over Raymond here Thursday in a Pacific B League boys basketball game."We had some rough spots, but we played pretty well," Naselle coach Brian Macy said. "We need to play like that more."Burkhalter dominated with 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Austin Burkhalter added eight points and 12 boards. As a team, Naselle shot 29-for-59 from the field, 12-for-19 from the line, and out-rebounded Raymond 42-25.Casey Heagy (13 points, six assists) and Spencer Griss (11 points) also played well for the Comets (5-9, 3-5 league).
